Who we are

Aureus is a trade name of Genetti Enterprises LLC.

What Aureus is

Aureus is an educational product. You get a practice portfolio with simulated money, real market prices to practise against, a journal for writing down why you did something, and lessons explaining how any of it works.

Every trade you place is simulated. You can't lose money in Aureus and you can't make any either.

What Aureus is not

• It never holds your money or your crypto. We are not a custodian, a wallet, or an exchange. We never ask for a seed phrase, a private key, or a key that can move funds, and there is no field anywhere in the product for one.
• It never places a real order. Nothing you do here reaches a broker or an exchange.
• It never gives investment advice. Aureus doesn't tell you what to buy or sell, doesn't predict prices, and doesn't claim any result. Its AI features explain what something means and where models disagree. That is education, not a recommendation, and you should not treat it as one.

We are not a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, or a financial institution, and nothing here is a personal recommendation. Decisions you make with real money elsewhere are yours.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anyone with them can see your account. Tell us if you think someone else has got in. You can delete your account at any time from your account page, and we can close an account that breaks these terms.

Your plan renews automatically

Paid plans renew by themselves. When a period ends, the next one starts and your payment method is charged again, and that keeps happening until you cancel. You are told this next to the button before you buy, and you have to tick a box agreeing to these terms before the payment page will let you continue.

Here is exactly what each plan renews at:

• Aureus, monthly — Your plan renews automatically at $19 every month, plus applicable tax, until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Subscription in your account.
• Aureus, yearly — Your plan renews automatically at $190 every year, plus applicable tax, until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Subscription in your account.
• Pro, monthly — Your plan renews automatically at $49 every month, plus applicable tax, until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Subscription in your account.
• Pro, yearly — Your plan renews automatically at $490 every year, plus applicable tax, until you cancel. Cancel anytime from Subscription in your account.

Tax is added where it applies. Today that means Washington State; if that changes, the price you are shown before you buy changes with it.

To cancel: open Aureus, go to Subscription, and choose Manage. That opens Stripe's billing page, where you cancel in one step. We do not put an offer, a survey, or an “are you sure?” in your way, and we will not ask you to email us or call anyone.

Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep the plan until the period you have already paid for ends.

We don't refund part of a period you've already paid for.

Subscriptions, cancelling, and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose, monthly or annually, through Stripe.

You can cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.

We don't refund a period that has already been paid. That is the same on both intervals — the annual discount is what you get for committing to the longer term, so it comes with the same rule, not a stricter one.

If we change what a plan costs, the new price applies from your next period, never the one you have already bought.

Fair use

Don't use Aureus to:

• break the law, or help anyone else do it
• get into an account that isn't yours, or into parts of ours you weren't given
• scrape it, resell its data, or pass its content off as your own
• hammer it with automated traffic, or work around a rate limit
• present anything from Aureus as financial advice to someone else

Where the data comes from

Market prices, news and blockchain balances come from other companies, each with their own terms. They are listed on the data and attributions page.

We show that data as we receive it. We can't promise it is accurate, complete or current, and a provider can go down or change what it gives us. A number in Aureus is a starting point for understanding something, not a fact to rely on for a real decision.

When Aureus inspects a contract's code

Some coins are tokens running on a smart contract. Where that contract's source code has been published and verified, Aureus reads it and tells you what it found — for example, that the code contains a function that can create new tokens. This is part of the lessons, and it is there to teach you what to look for.

• It is educational, and it is not advice. Nothing in it is legal, financial, or security advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or avoid anything.
• It is automated static analysis, not a professional audit. A program reads the published source and looks for patterns. No person reviews the contract, no code is run, and nothing here is a security assessment of the kind an audit firm performs.
• “Not found” never means safe. It means Aureus read the published source and did not find it. The same ability can be reached through code this kind of reading does not see, and a program finding nothing is not proof that nothing is there.
• A contract can change after we look. What we show is what we read at the date and block stated beside it. Code can be replaced, ownership can move, and a contract that read one way yesterday can read another way today.

We describe what a contract's code contains. We do not say what anyone intends to do with it, and we do not predict what will happen. Source code can permit something that never occurs.

We cannot always know that a source told the truth. We can verify the source, and show you where to check it yourself.

What we can and can't promise

We work to keep Aureus running and correct, but we provide it as it is. We can't promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that its data will be right.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Aureus is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, arising from your use of Aureus. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some places don't allow limits like these. Where that is true, this section applies as far as your local law permits and no further, and it doesn't take away rights you have that can't be signed away.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, and disputes belong to the courts there. Aureus is available worldwide, and you are responsible for whether using it is allowed where you live.

Changes, and how to reach us

If we change these terms we'll change the date at the top. If a change matters to a paid plan, it takes effect at your next period.
