What Aureus is

Aureus is an educational product. You get a practice portfolio with simulated money, real market prices to practise against, a journal for writing down why you did something, and lessons explaining how any of it works.

Every trade you place is simulated. You can't lose money in Aureus and you can't make any either.

What Aureus is not

• It never holds your money or your crypto. We are not a custodian, a wallet, or an exchange. We never ask for a seed phrase, a private key, or a key that can move funds, and there is no field anywhere in the product for one.
• It never places a real order. Nothing you do here reaches a broker or an exchange.
• It never gives investment advice. Aureus doesn't tell you what to buy or sell, doesn't predict prices, and doesn't claim any result. Its AI features explain what something means and where models disagree. That is education, not a recommendation, and you should not treat it as one.

We are not a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, or a financial institution, and nothing here is a personal recommendation. Decisions you make with real money elsewhere are yours.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anyone with them can see your account. Tell us if you think someone else has got in. You can delete your account at any time from your account page, and we can close an account that breaks these terms.

Subscriptions, cancelling, and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose, monthly or annually, through Stripe.

You can cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.

We don't refund a period that has already been paid. That is the same on both intervals — the annual discount is what you get for committing to the longer term, so it comes with the same rule, not a stricter one.

If we change what a plan costs, the new price applies from your next period, never the one you have already bought.

Fair use

Don't use Aureus to:

• break the law, or help anyone else do it
• get into an account that isn't yours, or into parts of ours you weren't given
• scrape it, resell its data, or pass its content off as your own
• hammer it with automated traffic, or work around a rate limit
• present anything from Aureus as financial advice to someone else

Where the data comes from

Market prices, news and blockchain balances come from other companies, each with their own terms. They are listed on the data and attributions page.

We show that data as we receive it. We can't promise it is accurate, complete or current, and a provider can go down or change what it gives us. A number in Aureus is a starting point for understanding something, not a fact to rely on for a real decision.

What we can and can't promise

We work to keep Aureus running and correct, but we provide it as it is. We can't promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that its data will be right.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Genetti Enterprises LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, arising from your use of Aureus. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some places don't allow limits like these. Where that is true, this section applies as far as your local law permits and no further, and it doesn't take away rights you have that can't be signed away.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, and disputes belong to the courts there. Aureus is available worldwide, and you are responsible for whether using it is allowed where you live.

Changes, and how to reach us

If we change these terms we'll change the date at the top. If a change matters to a paid plan, it takes effect at your next period.
